The Arts District Dog Park Needs Your Help.

This wonderful dog and people socialization spot is NOT run or supported by the City of Los Angeles. While the land is being generously loaned to the community, there are yearly operational costs to cover. You can help keep the Arts District Dog Park open to the public with a donation to cover operational costs.

Why You Should Support Your Local Dog Park:

·         Dog parks help foster “better canine behavior” and cleaner streets. A well exercised dog is a calm and quiet dog that is a better neighbor.

·         It’s a place to connect with other community pet owners. There are people that have lived next door to each for years and yet it took a visit to the Arts District Dog Park to meet their neighbors.

·         Provides a place where people can have daily, extended people/dog interaction, fostering a sense of community ownership.

·         Creates opportunity for local artists and business owners to “source locally” for their business needs, through conversation with dog park patrons. Conversations start by talking about the dogs, and always lead to occupational dialogue.

The Arts District Dog Park is a way for you to connect with the local community.

Show your support and establish your business as local source. In an informal survey, dog park patrons, were asked, “Would you show preference in selecting a business to patronize, if that business directly supported your community dog park?” The answer was a resounding “Yes.”
