The 2012 “Artsy” is awarded to Arturo Gonzalez

The recipient of the 2012 Artsy is Arturo Gonzalez, Area Director for the Office of Councilman Jose Huizar.
Arturo is a veteran of public service serving Council members Richard Alarcon, Wendy Greuel and ending his tenure with the City with Jose Huizar.
Arturo has been a champion of the Arts District, unifying disparate groups, introducing leadership in various parts of the district, healing rifts and most importantly helping the community empower itself to create ground breaking changes to the neighborhood.
LARABA is deeply grateful for his service to the community and his friendship to many of our Arts District family. Arturo’s last day with the Councilman is today and we hope that he leaves knowing how much he is appreciated and how grateful we are for his service!
